CHICAGO, IL – June 3, 2020 – Evergreen Climate Innovations announced today that in response to COVID-19, it will use funds received from the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) Channel Partner Awards program to support its portfolio company, Igor, in the development and launch of a new product that safely and automatically disinfects rooms without human intervention. Igor provides a versatile and easy to install power-over-ethernet platform solution to make commercial buildings smarter and more energy efficient. In response to COVID-19, Igor developed a patent-pending automated disinfection solution, Nexos Intelligent Disinfection. This product, unveiled today, leverages Igor’s smart building platform, Nexos, and commercially available ultraviolet (UVC) lighting and sensors to safely and automatically disinfect rooms without human intervention. “Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we are designing a turn-key kitted solution for building operators and businesses to clean building interiors and minimize human contact,” said Dwight Stewart, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Igor. “We are honored to receive Evergreen Climate Innovation’s ongoing support and confidence in our technology and latest offering.” “Wells Fargo and the Innovation Incubator program mobilized rapidly to support companies such as Igor during this global economic and health crisis.
