Evergreen Climate Innovations and the U.S. Bank Foundation announce today Agriwater as the 2023 recipient of the U.S. Bank Foundation Cleantech Inclusion Award.
Agriwater is a Tennessee-based company focused on reducing the prevalence of hazardous wastewater lagoons and carbon emissions from agricultural wastewater with their proprietary water treatment system. Agriwater is led by Dr. Bianca Bailey, a University of Illinois grad who received her Ph.D. in Agricultural & Biological Engineering.

Now in its fourth year, this award supports people of color and female-identifying entrepreneurs who are building innovative companies that benefit the environment, create jobs, and drive economic development.
The Evergreen team is excited about Dr. Bailey’s commitment to creating a more sustainable agricultural industry that benefits both farmers and local community members. Agriwater’s modular electro-coagulator system provides farmers with an alternative wastewater treatment method that removes contaminants and reduces the risk of runoff pollution to local water sources.
